Elle Sera & HRT

Before we start, we want to stress that Elle Sera can be used as an alternative to/or alongside HRT - We have many customers who hail it a great natural option and others who believe it works best for them when partnered with their HRT - everyone is different.

We hear from many ladies week in week out across all our channels - but to this day our most asked question…Is Elle Sera a good alternative to HRT?

Well, the answer is quite simply is - YES. But let me take the opportunity here to explain why…

“My Elle sera have helped so much since coming of HRT 2months ago fantastic 🤩

For women experiencing menopause, hormone replacement therapy (HRT) is often prescribed in order to alleviate symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweats and plenty of other hormone related symptoms. However, there are many people who cannot take HRT. This is usually because of an underlying health condition that makes it unsafe for them to take hormones.

For example, women with a history of breast cancer should not take HRT because it can increase their risk of the cancer coming back. Women who have had blood clots in the past may also be advised not to take HRT because it can increase the risk of clotting. Other people who may not be able to take HRT include those with liver disease, high blood pressure or severe migraines.

As a result, many women look for alternative treatments that are more natural and have fewer side effects. One such treatment can be adaptogens, like the one’s found in Elle Sera.

The dominant ingredient found in our herbal supplement is Maca extract. Along with Tribulus Terrestris, Siberian Ginseng, Gingko Bilboa and Beetroot extract.
Maca is thought to work by regulating the body’s hormone levels - but critically, it does not contain hormones - therefore you will feel relief from the symptoms without the risk. It’s been rigorously tested in numerous published clinical trials over the years. These studies show that this non-HRT approach to menopause not only relieves the symptoms of menopause, but can also go a long way to helping your heart health and bone density.

Maca can help increase the body’s own production of estrogen, instead of simply adding synthetic estrogen to the body, like you would with HRT. It stimulates the hypothalamus, pituitary, adrenal, and ovarian glands in order to rebalance the body’s production of hormones and treat menopause symptoms as a whole. 1

It is also a rich source of antioxidants. In addition, Maca has been shown to improve energy levels, libido, weight management and mood, making it an ideal treatment for women who are struggling with menopause. 2,3

“I’ve been on HRT for over a year and gained weight so decided to try this. I’m now completely off HRT and have taken my golden pills for about 3 weeks. So far so good I’m feeling great. More energy no symptoms have come back as yet so I’m very happy and would recommend Elle-Sera.”

But let’s look at how the other ingredients in Elle Sera have also been shown as great relievers of menopausal symptoms too.

Tribulus Terrestris is a flowering plant that has been used for centuries in traditional Chinese and Indian medicine. Tribulus is beneficial for a wide range of health conditions, including menopause.

Evidence suggests that Tribulus may help to relieve menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweats, bone health and prevent osteoporosis. It’s also great because it is generally considered safe and well-tolerated and has been proven to show was more effective than placebo for alleviation of menopausal transition symptoms and may offer a safe alternative to HRT, especially relating to low libido, sexual dysfunction, vaginal dryness and lubrication.

“I have taken your pills for a solid month and just about to start my second batch. I can already feel the difference - was prescribed HRT, and the side effects were hideous. Came off it and started on my Elle Sera journey. I’ve already recommended your pills to friends that are experiencing similar issues. Thank you !

Anyone out there feeling sceptical - trust me , take the leap xxx 😘

Anxiety is a common symptom relating to the menopause which is why we chose to include Siberian Ginseng. Siberian Ginseng has been shown to effectively regulate and suppress the occurrence of anxiety, depression and the hormonal changes caused by stress. It does this by adjusting the hypothalamic–pituitary–adrenal axis and controlling hormones, which produces beneficial effects on the heart and brain. 5

“Absolutely amazing product. After suffering from anxiety my whole life, I’m actually now free of it and can’t quite believe it sometimes. Also feeling as though my weight is easier to manage. Customer service is beyond great, extremely responsive/helpful/kind. Please do not stop making this product!”

Ginkgo biloba is also in Elle Sera because it has strong anti-inflammatory and antioxidant capacities and an ability to improve blood circulation. But it also has plenty of other benefits including brain function, anxiety, depression, migraines and heart health. 6

While the beetroot extract we have used has a wealth of health properties associated with it’s use and is a fabulous way to support women’s health.

Beetroot is a good source of iron, which is essential for women, since they are more prone to iron deficiency than men. Beetroot also contains nitrates, which can help to lower blood pressure. It’s also a great source of antioxidants, which can help to protect cells from damage and reduce inflammation.

Finally, beetroot has been shown to improve exercise performance and increase stamina. For all these reasons, beetroot is an excellent addition to the diet of any woman interested in maintaining her health and well-being. 7

For these reasons, we have several women already enjoying the benefits of Elle Sera as a good alternative to hormone replacement therapy. We made it into a fabulous golden pill, not only so you would remember to take it (taking a white pill can be so hum drum that you might forget to do it) and swallowing a pill is the easiest way for any lady to conveniently supplement.

It’s also affordable and available without a prescription. So if you are looking for an alternative to hormone replacement therapy, consider giving Elle sera a try.
